Day Seven- Saturday

Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam

We are headed home praising the Lord for a great trip. We have been blessed in every way. Continue to pray for us and those who we had the opportunity to meet and minister with.

Day Six- Friday

The seniors enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach today. The trip was a catamaran cruise to Tortuga Island on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The weather was spectacular and we even saw some dolphins on the cruise out. Most of the students snorkeled before we enjoyed a four course lunch prepared on the beach as we enjoyed some music provided by a very talented marimba band. The rest of the afternoon was spent enjoying the water and the beach. It was a wonderful way to end our time in Costa Rica and the students certainly deserved the break.

Day Five- Thursday

What a day!! We had around 170 children in the two sessions and the construction crew was able to get all of the concrete work done. They also removed a large slab of concrete and dug a hole to China. It was sad to say adios to our new friends. Tomorrow we head to the coast for a relaxing day at the beach.

Day Four- Wednesday

What a wonderful day. We had nearly 120 children today in the morning and afternoon sessions. The construction crew continues to make tremendous progress. This is one of the hardest working group of students we have ever taken to Costa Rica and we are extremely proud of them. Tonight we will return to the church to share in the Wednesday evening service.

Day Three- Tuesday

We had a blessed day today in LaCarpio. The seniors took charge and did an absolutely fantastic job with the children and in the construction project. We are enjoying some rain showers which have been very helpful in cooling things of a bit. We will head back to the church on Wednesday for another day of ministry and will be joining the congregation for their Wednesday evening service.

Day Two- Monday

Everyone had a fantastic day visiting the Poas volcano and then zipping down the zip-line through the beautiful cloud forest. It was a strenuous day but lots of fun. We are now getting ready for three days of ministry at LaCarpio. We are thankful for your prayers and support.

Sunday- Day One

We arrived safe and sound and enjoyed a beautiful and very warm Costa Rican afternoon. After getting everyone settled into the hotel, we headed out for some shopping at a downtown market and then had a delicious dinner. Everyone is enjoying a swim before bed. On Monday we will head out to see the beautiful Costa Rican countryside with a visit to a volcano and a canopy tour on the zip-line.
